These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Guidors website, platform, applications, features, booking services, payment facilities, communication tools, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform, booking a guidorship Session, applying to become a Guidor, or otherwise using any Guidors service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them.

Unless otherwise expressly permitted by Guidors and applicable law, users must be at least 18 years old.
By using the Platform, you represent that:
- the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current
- you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms
- you will comply with applicable laws and regulations
- you will not use another person's identity or account without authorization
Guidors may introduce additional eligibility, verification, or parental/guardian requirements for particular services or categories.
4. Guidors' Role
Guidors operates a technology and marketplace platform designed to facilitate connections between Guidees and Guidors.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Guidors does not itself provide the individual guidorship services offered by Guidors through the Platform.
Guidors may provide tools and services for discovering Guidors, creating and managing profiles, booking Sessions, facilitating payments, communication, scheduling, reviews and ratings, customer support, trust and safety, and dispute management.
A Guidor is responsible for the guidorship services they provide.
Guidors does not guarantee that a particular Guidor will be suitable for a particular Guidee or that a Session will produce a particular result.
5. Guidor Profiles and Information
Guidors may allow Guidors to create profiles containing information including name, photograph, professional background, education, qualifications, experience, skills, areas of expertise, biography, availability, pricing, reviews, professional links, and other relevant information.
Guidors may review, moderate, verify, or request evidence relating to profile information.
Information supplied by a Guidor may be self-reported unless specifically identified by Guidors as verified.
Guidors does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current status of every Guidor's qualifications, experience, claims, or professional information.
Guidees should exercise their own judgment before selecting and booking a Guidor.
6. Guidorship Services
Guidorship is intended to provide personalized guidance based on the Guidor's stated experience, knowledge, and areas of expertise.
Guidorship may include career guidance, education guidance, business guidance, entrepreneurship, professional development, skills development, and other permitted categories.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, guidorship should not be considered legal advice, medical advice, psychological or psychiatric treatment, financial or investment advice, tax advice, immigration or visa advice, or regulated professional advice.
Where a matter requires a licensed or regulated professional, Users should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
7. Account Registration
Certain Platform features require registration.
Users agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, all activity conducted through their account, notifying Guidors of unauthorized access, and maintaining accurate account information.
Users must not share their account with another person, create accounts for deceptive purposes, create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, impersonate another person, or use false credentials or professional information.
Guidors may require additional verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, security, or compliance purposes.
8. Booking Sessions
Guidees may browse available Guidors and book Sessions according to the availability and terms displayed on the Platform.
A booking is considered confirmed only when the Platform indicates that the booking has been accepted or confirmed.
The Session duration, price, format, date, time, and other relevant details will be displayed before booking where applicable.
Guidees are responsible for reviewing booking details before completing a booking or payment.
9. Fees and Payments
Prices for Sessions will be displayed on the Platform in the applicable currency.
Depending on the applicable payment arrangement, Guidors may collect payment from Guidees, facilitate payment through a third-party payment provider, deduct applicable platform fees or commissions, and remit the applicable balance to Guidors.
Additional taxes, payment-processing charges, or other applicable fees may apply where required or disclosed.
Users agree to provide accurate payment and billing information.
Guidors may use third-party payment providers. Such providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Guidor Commission
Guidors may charge a commission, service fee, or other platform fee for transactions facilitated through the Platform.
The applicable commission and fee structure will be communicated to Guidors through the Guidor Agreement, Guidor dashboard, Platform, or other official communication.
Guidors may change its commission or fee structure subject to the applicable Guidor Agreement and reasonable notice requirements.
11. Guidor Payouts
Where Guidors facilitates payment collection, the applicable amount payable to a Guidor may be remitted after deduction of Guidors' commission or platform fee, applicable payment-processing charges, refunds, chargebacks, adjustments, and other amounts properly payable under the Guidor Agreement.
Payout timing may depend on successful completion of a Session, payment settlement, fraud checks, chargeback periods, and the relevant payment provider.
Guidors may delay or withhold a payout where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, disputes, payment reversals, or violations of these Terms or the Guidor Agreement.
12. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Guidees and Guidors must comply with the applicable Guidors Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
Cancellation deadlines, refund eligibility, and rescheduling conditions may vary depending on the Session and will be communicated through the Platform.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in warnings, loss of booking privileges, financial consequences, account restrictions, suspension, or termination.
13. No-Shows
A User who fails to attend a confirmed Session without appropriate cancellation may be treated as a no-show.
If a Guidee does not attend a Session while the Guidor is present and ready to provide the Session, the Session may be considered completed or otherwise handled according to the applicable cancellation policy.
If a Guidor fails to attend a confirmed Session, Guidors may provide an appropriate remedy to the Guidee, which may include rescheduling, credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.
Repeated no-shows may result in account action.
14. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Guidors Refund Policy.
A refund is not automatically available simply because a Guidee is dissatisfied with a Guidor's personal style, opinions, recommendations, or the outcome of a Session, unless the circumstances fall within the applicable Refund Policy or mandatory legal rights.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
15. Reviews and Ratings
Guidors may allow Guidees and Guidors to submit reviews, ratings, and feedback.
Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, relevant, respectful, and free from unlawful or abusive content.
Users must not submit fake reviews, review a Session they did not attend, manipulate ratings, offer incentives for positive reviews, threaten another User with a negative review, or use reviews to harass or defame another person.
Guidors may remove, restrict, or refuse to publish content that violates these Terms, applicable policies, or law.
16. User Conduct
Users must behave respectfully and professionally.
Users must not use the Platform to harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse another person; discriminate; engage in hate speech; make unwanted sexual advances; share sexually explicit material; publish another person's private information without authorization; impersonate another person; commit fraud or deception; misrepresent qualifications or experience; distribute malware; spam or phish; interfere with Platform operations; scrape or systematically extract Platform data without authorization; engage in unlawful activity; or use the Platform for prohibited services.
Guidors may take immediate action where conduct creates a safety, legal, financial, or reputational risk.
17. Prohibited Services
Users must not use Guidors to offer, request, arrange, or facilitate services that are illegal, fraudulent, unsafe, or prohibited by Guidors.
Prohibited activities may include illegal activities; fraudulent schemes; unlawful financial activities; sexual services; exploitation; trafficking; illegal gambling; sale or distribution of prohibited substances; weapons-related services; activities involving exploitation or abuse of minors; services requiring a regulated professional license where the Guidor is not appropriately licensed; deceptive immigration, legal, medical, or financial services; and any service prohibited by applicable law.
Guidors may remove listings, cancel bookings, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, and cooperate with lawful authorities where appropriate.
18. Off-Platform Transactions and Non-Circumvention
Guidors is designed to facilitate transactions through the Platform.
Users must not intentionally move a transaction outside the Platform to avoid applicable Guidors fees, safeguards, or policies.
This includes attempts to move an existing Guidors booking to an external payment arrangement, encourage another User to avoid Platform fees, create an external arrangement based on a connection established through Guidors for the purpose of circumventing the Platform, or use Platform communication tools primarily to arrange transactions that deliberately bypass Guidors.
Guidors may take appropriate action, including suspension or termination, where these rules are violated.
19. Confidentiality
Users should exercise appropriate care when sharing confidential or sensitive information during a Session.
Guidors expects Guidors to treat non-public information shared by Guidees during guidorship as confidential unless the Guidee has authorized disclosure, disclosure is necessary to provide the agreed service, disclosure is required by law, or disclosure is necessary for a legitimate safety or legal reason.
Guidors itself will handle personal information according to its Privacy Policy.
Users should not share passwords, payment credentials, highly sensitive personal information, or other information that is unnecessary for the Session.
Where a Guidee requires a formal confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement, the Guidee and Guidor may enter into a separate agreement.
20. User-Generated Content
Users may submit information, reviews, photographs, biographies, messages, documents, and other content to the Platform.
Users remain responsible for the content they submit.
Users represent that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit such content.
By submitting content to Guidors, Users grant Guidors a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and promote the Platform, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Guidors may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
21. Intellectual Property
The Guidors name, logo, trademarks, website design, software, databases, interfaces, content, and other Platform materials are owned by or licensed to Guidors unless otherwise stated.
Users may use the Platform only for its intended purpose.
Without prior written permission, Users must not copy or reproduce substantial parts of the Platform, sell or commercially exploit Platform Content, reverse engineer the Platform except where legally permitted, reproduce Guidors branding in a misleading manner, use automated systems to scrape or extract substantial Platform data, or create a competing service using protected Guidors materials.
22. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services, including payment providers, video-conferencing services, calendar services, analytics providers, authentication services, and communication tools.
Guidors is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.
Use of such services may be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy policies.
23. Communications
Guidors may communicate with Users regarding account activity, bookings, payments, security, service updates, support matters, and policy changes.
Marketing communications may be subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
Users must not use Guidors communication features to spam, harass, solicit unlawfully, or distribute malicious content.
24. Platform Availability
Guidors aims to provide a reliable Platform but does not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, security incidents, or events beyond Guidors' reasonable control.
25. No Guarantee of Results
Guidors does not guarantee that guidorship will result in employment, admission to an educational institution, business success, investment returns, promotion, increased income, visa approval, certification, or any particular personal or professional outcome.
Results depend on numerous factors outside Guidors' control.
26. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and its content are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
Guidors does not guarantee the accuracy of all User-provided information, the suitability of a particular Guidor, the quality or outcome of every Session, uninterrupted Platform availability, or that all User-generated content is accurate or lawful.
Users are responsible for exercising their own judgment when using information obtained through the Platform.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guidors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising from interactions between Users, guidorship provided by a Guidor, decisions made based on guidance received, User-generated content, third-party services, Platform interruptions, or unauthorized conduct by Users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Any specific financial liability cap should be determined following legal review of Guidors' business structure and applicable law.
28. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a User may be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, infringement of another person's rights, fraudulent or misleading information, misuse of the Platform, or content submitted by the User.
This section does not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
29. Account Suspension and Termination
Guidors may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including where a User violates these Terms; violates the Guidor Code of Conduct or User Conduct Policy; provides false information; engages in fraud; repeatedly fails to attend Sessions; abuses another User; attempts to circumvent Platform fees; engages in prohibited services; creates a security or legal risk; or violates applicable law.
Where appropriate, Guidors may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect Users, the Platform, or third parties.
30. Complaints and Disputes
Users are encouraged to contact Guidors first regarding complaints involving bookings, payments, cancellations, Guidors, Guidees, conduct, or Platform services.
Guidors may investigate complaints and communicate with relevant parties.
The existence of an internal complaint process does not prevent a User from exercising any legal rights available under applicable law.
Further procedures may be provided in the Guidors Dispute Resolution Policy.
31. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, unless mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
Subject to applicable consumer rights and dispute-resolution requirements, disputes relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangladesh.
32. Changes to These Terms
Guidors may update these Terms from time to time.
Where changes are material, Guidors may provide reasonable notice through the Platform, email, or another appropriate method.
The updated Terms will identify a new version number, effective date, and last updated date.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
33. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Guidors Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how Guidors collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information.
34. Cookies
Guidors may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, analyze, personalize, and improve the Platform.
Additional information is provided in the Guidors Cookie Policy.
35. Force Majeure
Guidors will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet or telecommunications failures, governmental actions, war, civil unrest, pandemics, major cyber incidents, or failures of critical third-party services.
36. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
37. No Waiver
Failure by Guidors to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
38. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the policies and agreements expressly incorporated into them, constitute the principal agreement governing your use of the Guidors Platform.
Additional agreements may apply to particular Users or services, including the Guidor Agreement, Guidor Code of Conduct, Guidor Commission & Payout Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Prohibited Services Policy, and Dispute Resolution Policy.
Where a specific agreement expressly applies to a particular service or relationship, that agreement may govern that specific matter to the extent of any inconsistency.
